Now owned by Richard Pennings and Bill Brass, who have a combined butchering experience of nearly 50 years, Richard and Bill are proud to continue this heritage, bringing the craftsmanship and quality of traditional butchery as well as the passion for new technologies and gourmet products to its customers.
All our Beef & Lamb is Q Mark Approved & Certified by the NZ Beef & Lamb Marketing Bureau, our Pork is all Free Range and friendly farmed on the Canterbury plains at the foot of the Southern Alps by Freedom Farms, we offer Free Range & Corn Fed Chicken & tasty succulent free range Turkeys, organic Beef and Lamb as well as Milk Fed White Veal, Game Meats such as Rabbit, Ostrich, Quail & Pheasant.
We are well renowned for our Genuine Homemade Sausages & Chipolatas and Home Smoked Bacon, these are made on site with the best of ingredients and are well worth trying, the same goes for our Home Made Chicken Liver & Brandy Pate. We strongly support NZ made and local producers as well as offering superior convenience foods & gourmet essentials including cheeses, olive oils, pastas, breads and all those fantastic condiments to accompany our outstanding meats.
